Wonju mobile immigration service now twice a month

1What happened?

Chuncheon Immigration Office is temporarily expanding its Wonju mobile immigration service. It used to run once a month on the 2nd Thursday. Now it runs twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays.

The period is October 2026 to January 2027. Dates: 2026 10/15, 10/29, 11/12, 11/26, 12/10, 12/24, and 2027 1/14, 1/28. Hours are 10:00–17:00, with a break from 12:00 to 13:00.

Services available: stay extension (D-2, D-4, E-9, F-1, F-4, F-6), workplace change for non-professional employment, address change report, passport change report, and ARC reissue. Not available: change of status, alien registration, permanent residence application, visa issuance confirmation, certificates, and nationality matters. 2How does it affect me?

If you live near Wonju and need a stay extension (D-2, D-4, E-9, F-1, F-4, F-6), an address or passport change report, or ARC reissue, you can now do it closer to home and more often. If you need a change of status, permanent residence, or nationality service, you must go to Chuncheon Immigration Office.
