Check your own citizenship review time

1What happened?

HiKorea announced the citizenship review periods for October 2026 in an attached file.

Until now, review periods by type of citizenship matter were posted on the website. To give more accurate information, it will switch to individual checking. This is planned for November 2026.

After the change, you can log in to HiKorea and use the [Citizenship Review Progress Inquiry] menu to see your own naturalization or nationality restoration review period information.

2How does it affect me?

This applies to people who have applied, or plan to apply, for naturalization or nationality restoration. You will check your own review period instead of a general notice by type. If you are not applying for citizenship, you do not need to do anything.

3What should I do?
