Do I need a written employment contract? My boss didn't give me any paper contract. He just told me my salary and work hours verbally. I heard contracts are important in Korea. Does the law require a written contract for foreign workers too?

Yes, Korean law says employer must give a written contract. Ask your boss again, if they refuse you can call 1350 for help
